Roger Blough in da Moonlight
We were at Rotary Park in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan on a late evening. We finished eating at Clydes Drive-Inn and took a short walk along the St.Mary's river. Then just as we were ready to leave we see a glow coming up over the trees on Sugar Island. It's a full moon, we heard something about a strawberry moon tonight but never really gave it too much of a thought. As we wait a while longer watching as it rises over the river and all of a sudden we're startled by a loud horn. From around the corner, a freighter appears out of the darkness and it slowly moves through the moonlight. We sit down on the bench just in awe as we watch all the colorful reflections shimmering off the water. This is a night that we will remember another night in Sault Ste. Marie that we will not forget!
